There are a few rule changes you need to be aware of, specifically GENERAL HUNTING REGULATIONS rule numbers 14 and 15. Prices for permits also changed this year.
READ THE REGULATIONS CAREFULLY.
It is your responsibility to read, understand and abide by these regulations. Purchase of your hunting permit(s) is your acceptance of these regulations.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
A Recreational Permit is required by all non-DoD personnel, age 16 years and older, to access all Tyndall AFB property, including Crooked Island Beach, Davis Beach Boat Launch, Buck Beach, DuPont Bridge Boat Launch, Bonita Bay, Farmdale Bayou, Strange Bayou and Redfish Point.
DoD personnel are defined as Active Duty Military, Reserve, National Guard, DoD Civilians, Retired Military, Retired DoD Civilians, their dependents, and DoD Contractors with a current DoD identification card with base wide access. Individuals who are members of the public and are not affiliated with the DoD are herein referred to as non-DoD.
Non-DoD members wishing to participate in recreational activities within the West Unit (inside of the guarded gated areas) require a Defense Biometric Identification Data Systems (DBIDS) identification card, which is issued upon completion of application and background check by the Security Forces Visitor Control Center, located at the intersection of Highway 98 and Sabre Drive. However, this DBIDS requirement does not apply to areas outside of the controlled perimeter.
NOTE: DBIDS will only be issued to those individuals once they purchase a recreational permit.
