Commercial Fishing and Tourism Contracts

Please be advised that Tyndall AFB Natural Resources is not currently issuing contracts for guide services, charters of any kind, commercial fishing, or tourism operations. Consequently, the use of Tyndall's boat launches for these commercial activities is strictly prohibited. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

 

Tyndall AFB Maritime Restricted Area Adjustment

Tyndall Air Force Base has lifted the maritime restricted area previously activated on March 27, 2026.
The 500-foot restriction zone from the shoreline is no longer in effect, and vessels may now approach up to the high mean tide line, which marks the installation's boundary.
However, Smack, Pearl, Sheephead, Freshwater and Fred Bayous will remain closed to all vessel traffic.
