- The 2025-2026 regulations have been reworked and have new information for the upcoming year. Please review the regulations thoroughly before purchasing any permits.
- With the new bear season voted in by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) in August, bear hunting will be allowed on Tyndall to those individuals who draw a permit from the FWC lottery. Bear hunters must follow all Tyndall-specific rules (found in the regulations) and must show physical proof of their FWC bear permit/tag before receiving a Tyndall Bear Permit.
Hunting Season Road Closures! EFFECTIVE 25OCT25
Entry into the East Hunt Unit is through Farmdale Rd, Rd 98H, and Det 1. Entry into the West Hunt Unit is through Boy Scout Rd and Rd 37. Gates to the following roads are closed: West End - Rd 32, Rd 30/30A, Rd 31C/Boy Scout Rd. East End - Rd 2, Rd 8A, Rd 11D/Farmdale Rd, Rd 11C/Farmdale Rd, Rds 11C, 98B, 98C, 98D, 98E, 98F, 98G, 98J
The following areas will be closed to all recreation on Saturday, 28 February, for prescribed burning operations.

-- Research Road and Research Road boat ramp
-- Hunt Blocks 9B, 9C, and 9D
