• The 2025-2026 regulations have been reworked and have new information for the upcoming year. Please review the regulations thoroughly before purchasing any permits.
• With the new bear season voted in by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) in August, bear hunting will be allowed on Tyndall to those individuals who draw a permit from the FWC lottery. Bear hunters must follow all Tyndall-specific rules (found in the regulations) and must show physical proof of their FWC bear permit/tag before receiving a Tyndall Bear Permit.

 

Hunting Season Road Closures!    EFFECTIVE 25OCT25
Entry into the East Hunt Unit is through Farmdale Rd, Rd 98H, and Det 1.  Entry into the West Hunt Unit is through Boy Scout Rd and Rd 37. Gates to the following roads are closed: West End - Rd 32, Rd 30/30A, Rd 31C/Boy Scout Rd.  East End - Rd 2, Rd 8A, Rd 11D/Farmdale Rd, Rd 11C/Farmdale Rd, Rds 11C, 98B, 98C, 98D, 98E, 98F, 98G, 98J

 

Hunt Block 1B will be closed on 30 January (Friday) and Hunt Block 10A will be closed on 1 February (Sunday) due to mission requirements.

 

Hunt Blocks 4A, 4C, 4D, and the entire barrier island west of Crooked Island Sound will be closed due to prescribed burn operations on 1 February (Sunday). Road 98A leading to Crooked Island East Beach will remain open.
